I was recently asked by one of my clients to photograph
the ex BBC weatherman Bill Giles. I set my portable studio lighting
up in the company boardroom. Bill was only available for a short
while so speed was of the essence. Backdrop and lighting set I was
ready to shoot. Bill came in and immediately settled in to all the
old poses, eyes front to camera, gesticulating “warm fronts”
and even posing with a “brolly”. 15 minutes, we were
done and Bill was on his way. The images will accompany a national
ad campaign.
