Obviously on our website we are going to tell you how great we are and why wouldn't we?! And being in the business of making images we are going to show you our best work. We have gone further than that in our galleries and tried to show examples of many of the projects we have had the privilege of being involved in. Some aspects of our work are glamorous, some are not, some involve large budgets, others are done on a shoestring. We have included some 300+ images categorised in the galleries. All photographs you see on our website were commissioned over the last 15+ years, taken for a specific purpose, and paid for by businesses. Testimony to our dedication to quality and service is that we have worked with some of our customers for many years and are very proud of these long standing relationships. From business relations we have made good friendships. We feel they are built on trust, service, quality, flexibility and value for money.

tetrad have been employing Marcus' services for over 12 years now, during that time he has photographed a wide range of furniture in a variety of styles – adshots /cutouts roomsets, with models both in-house and on location - when you are on a location shoot at a stately home you need to have total confidence in your photographer.
Marcus is always happy to offer his professional opinion to assist in achieving 'the perfect shot' and in my experience is equally capable of being art directed or directing the shoot himself.
When photographing furniture capturing the texture of the fabric/leather is important and accuracy of colour vital - Marcus has always excelled in both areas. His lighting knowledge is extensive - replicating the morning sun spilling through a window, a moody candle lit interior, or on one of the best shots we have in our collection - realising that the available light of a fading day would make a wonderfully atmospheric shot - I believe lighting is one of his strengths.

Design & Image have been using Marcus Pomfret of Art-Image Photography for over 5 years. The bulk of that work has been for a client who manufactures high-value specialist machinery for export overseas. As the products in question are large and heavy they need to be photographed in the factory environment. This calls for specialist lighting and backdrops as the shapes are complex and the surfaces highly reflective. It also calls for out-of-hours work so as not to disrupt production. Furthermore there are often only small windows of opportunity for photography between the completion of production and shipping.
